I first encountered Narinder and her work in Atlanta, and I was immediately captivated. I quickly became a devoted student of her teachings, attending as many workshops as I could—from creative and artistic explorations of death to practical home funeral demonstrations. Somewhere along the way, what began as fascination became something much deeper: I recognized a calling.
That calling eventually led me to complete The Nine Keys, Narinder’s immersive nine-month Death Arts and end-of-life guide program. The experience profoundly shaped the way I understand death, dying, grief, ritual, and what it means to accompany another person through one of life’s most sacred transitions.
Narinder has a remarkable gift for bringing death out of the shadows and back into conversation with life. Her teaching weaves together practical end-of-life knowledge, death literacy, creativity, ritual, community, and a willingness to explore the places our culture often avoids.
She is also fabulous to work with—knowledgeable, creative, generous, and deeply committed to helping others discover how this work wants to take shape in their own lives. Beyond The Nine Keys, Narinder offers workshops, one-on-one consultation, mentorship, and business development support for those finding their way into death care and end-of-life work.
For me, Narinder's teaching became more than an education. It helped illuminate a path that was already quietly calling me. Her work and The Nine Keys hold a very special place in the roots of my own work with Shamamama.

Zema Love Fire is one of those beautifully multidimensional people whose work brings together healing, spirituality, creativity, music, food, and ceremony.I have personally worked with Zema through Reiki, both for my own healing and with her as a teacher and guide. She brings a depth of knowledge, intuition, and heart to her work that has stayed with me throughout my own spiritual and healing journey.
Zema is the Founder and Director of the Indigo School of Light, an ordained minister, healer, Reiki Master Teacher, holistic chef, published author, medicine musician, and spiritual teacher. Her healing practice draws from a wide range of energetic and vibrational traditions, including Usui, Kundalini, Violet Flame and Violet Rose Flame Reiki, chakra and meridian work, aura clearing, divination, Acutonics, crystal healing, heart activation, and other forms of spiritual and energetic support.
She also has an incredible voice. Through medicine music, prayer, sound, and sacred ceremony, Zema creates some of the most beautiful and heartfelt gatherings I have experienced in and around Atlanta. There is a warmth and reverence to the spaces she creates that invites people to connect more deeply with themselves, one another, and Spirit.
Her work extends into another form of medicine I deeply appreciate: food. As a holistic chef, Zema understands nourishment as something that can care for the body, spirit, and community, bringing intention and love into what she prepares and shares.Zema is a true kindred connection for me—a gifted teacher, healer, artist, and ceremonial guide whose many offerings are ultimately rooted in helping people reconnect with their own inner wisdom and light.
